This exhibition features two dozen brilliantly colored paintings that combine a classic Dutch still life sensibility with contemporary references, producing an arresting magical realism. Ficarelli-Halpern has been developing this series since 2007, after she inherited a vast collection of costume jewelry from her mother-in-law, who owned every piece of the Joan Rivers QVC Collection.
