Nine solo exhibitions in drawing, painting, assemblage and print featuring Terri Amig: Mercury and the Little Mysteries, Enrico Gomez: Paper Works, Lisa Ficarelli-Halpern: Chamber Pieces, Eileen Ferara: Estuary, Jaz Graf: In Other Words, Carol Radsprecher: We’ve Esaped the Studio!, Eliot Markell: Imaginary Sculptures, James Prez: Bird(s) on a Wire, and Max Velez: Faces. This month each room in Drawing Rooms becomes a unique world in itself; each a reflection of a single artist’s creative investigation of both their experience of nature and of the nature of thought. These new sets of work by NJ/NY area artists explore the internal life by describing externals. Their work examines the natural environment as well as the very tools of narrative communication and thought, re-imagining all they see and endowing these images with meaning. This program is made possible in part by funds from the New Jersey State Council on the Arts/Department of State, a partner agency of the National Endowment for the Arts, administered by the Hudson County Office of Cultural and Heritage Affairs, Thomas A. DeGise, County Executive, and the Board of Chosen Freeholders.

Exhibition continues: Sunday, October 19 through Saturday, November 8, 2014
This exhibition features two dozen brilliantly colored paintings that combine a classic Dutch still life sensibility with contemporary references, producing an arresting magical realism. Ficarelli-Halpern has been developing this series since 2007, after she inherited a vast collection of costume jewelry from her mother-in-law, who owned every piece of the Joan Rivers QVC Collection. OCEANVILLE (GALLOWAY TWP.), NJ (August 28, 2012) – The Noyes Museum of Art of Stockton College is pleased to announce the exhibition Feast for the Eyes: The Art of Food September 14, 2012 – January 13, 2013.
In Feast for the Eyes sixteen artists present their interpretations of food not merely as sustenance, but as cultural expression, a source of comfort, obsession, a symbol of prosperity and cause for celebration. Food has been the subject of artists across cultures and time from the earliest cave painters to the luxurious still life paintings of the Dutch masters, and larger than life cakes, pastries and other items of mass consumption from the pop art movement of the 1970s.
